Stanley Market Hong Kong

It is a traditional street market located in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island, and one of the most favorite attractions of locals, expats and tourists.

Most of the stalls or shops are operated by locals selling Hong Kong souvenirs, Chinese arts and crafts, painting and calligraphy, clothing, accessories, jewelry and ornaments etc. at reasonable prices. They are generally open daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

It is located at Stanley New Street, Stanley Market Road and Stanley Main Street. But be sure to go “treasure-hunting” along the alleys as well. There you can find “I Love HK” T-shirts, postcards with your name printed in both Chinese and English.

Feeling a bit tired after shopping, no worries, go to the bars at the seafront. Sit down for a beer and a snack at the outdoor seating. Listen to the waves, take a look at the sky and the sea, enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and forget about the busy city centre.
