planning to visit lamma island or cheung chau with my kids this coming dec holidays. we will be staying at Nathan Road, how do I get to the ferry terminal and which ferry to take accordingly?
Hi Chan,
Thanks for contacting Hong Kong Travel Guide.
The best way is to take a bus at Nathan Road to the Star Ferry Bus Terminus at Tsim Sha Tsui. Then, take the Star Ferry to cross the Victoria Harbour and get to Central Piers. The ferry to Cheung Chau is at Central Pier No. 5 and that to Lamma Island is at Pier No. 4. Not sure which section of Nathan Road you will stay at, but you can take Bus No. 1, 1A, 2, 6, 7, 9, 234X along the road.
Best Regards,
Katy Yam
