Snoopy World Hong Kong
Snoopy’s World (sometimes known as Snoopy Land) is a mini theme park in Hong Kong. It is located on the podium of New Town Plaza Phase 1 in Shatin, where the plaza is a popular shopping mall. Opened in 2000, it is the first Snoopy World in Asia, and the second one outside the United States, with the theme of Peanuts comics. This outdoor playground has an area of about 3,670 square meters. Let’s go and meet Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, Woodstock and other Peanuts friends.
Snoopy’s World features 6 amusement zones, with over 60 statues of Peanut comics’ characters, which are: the Snoopy House, Peanuts Campus, Canoe Ride, Peanuts Playground, Peanuts Boulevard and the Community Hall.
Snoopy House: The 4.5-meter tall Snoopy House at the entrance of the park showcases the history of Peanuts Comics and the life of its famed creator, Charles Schulz. The Snoopy lying on its roof is the world’s largest outdoor statue of it (5.5 x 3 x 3.5 meters).
Peanuts Campus: There are 7 statues in school uniforms playing music every 15 minutes. You can also get on the yellow school bus next to it.
Canoe Ride: Take a raft adventure through the Grand Canyon, the wilderness and the Space etc.
Peanuts Playground: A playground with Peanuts characters suitable for children aged 6-12.
