1. A Symphony of Lights

The winter edition of this multimedia show will have additional lighting effect on some nights.

  • Date: 1 December 2019 – 1 January 2019
  • Time: 8pm nightly (about 10 minutes)
  • Viewing points: Both sides of the Victoria Habour such as Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai and a cruise tour on the harbour.
  • Admission: Free

    • Hong Kong Cultural Centre–MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit L6, 5-minute walk

2. Tsim Sha Tsui East Christmas Illuminations

The Tsim Sha Tsui East festive illumination has been one of the most exciting and traditional Christmas celebrations in Hong Kong since the 1980s. A number of buildings in the area are ‘dressed up’ to warm millions of locals and tourists.

  • Date: 5 November 2019 – 1 January 2020
  • Venue: Tsim Sha Tsui East

3. The Great European Carnival

As usual, the long-awaited Great European Carnival Hong Kong will take place at Central Harbourfront this year. Come and enjoy some rides, games, food, attractions and entertainment by our iconic skyline.

4. Stanley Plaza Christmas Market

The theme of this year is Christmas Happy Chemistry which offer innovative and interactive ways of celebration. There are over 50 festive booths featuring festive gifts, treats and exclusive shopping redemption.

5. Yim Tin Tsai Arts Festival

Yim Tin Tsai is a centuries-old village located on an island in Sai Kung which presents the co-existence of Roman Catholicism and Hakka culture. The 1st Yim Tin Tsai Arts Festival is a fusion of arts, religion, culture, heritage and green elements.

  • Date: 30 November – 29 December 2019
  • Time: Various Times
  • Venue: Yim Tin Tsai, Sai Kung
  • Admission: Free (Online RSVP for specific events and workshops)

6. The Nutcracker 2019

This traditional Christmas ballet with a score by Tchaikovsky will be performed live by Hong Kong Sinfonietta.

7. The 17th Hong Kong Food Festival

This annual food fair is a paradise for foodies as it gathers renowned local brands and food from other places like Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, South East Asia and more. There are Luxurious Food Zone, Daily Essentials Zone, and Healthy Green and Vegetarian Food Zone for you to explore. Visitors can also go to the concurrent 17th Hong Kong Mega Showcase.

  • Date & Time:
    • 25-28 December – 10am – 9pm
    • 29 December – 10am – 7pm
  • Venue: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Hall 3
  • Admission Fee: HK$20 per person
  • How to get there: MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A5, walk along the footbridge of O’Brien Road, pass through Central Plaza to get there. 15-minute walk.

  • Ticketing stops 45 minutes and admission stops 15 minutes prior to daily closing time respectively.

8. The 54th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo

It is one of the largest outdoor fairs in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo features the election of Miss Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo, You can find famous brands and quality products as well as yummy local food such as Hong Kong street food!

  • Date & Time:
    • 10 – 31 December 2019, 11am – 8pm;
    • 31 December 2019, 11am – 6pm
  • Venue: Victoria Park, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island
  • Admission: HK$8
  • How to get there: Same as the above (Hong Kong Food Festival)

  • Ticketing and admission stop 30 minutes prior to daily closing time, and stop 1 hour prior to the closing time on the last day.
